Trevor Slater is an accredited and highly experienced commercial mediator, negotiator and trainer. He hold a Masters’ Degree in Conflict Resolution from La Trobe University and qualifications in NLP and mBIT. Trevor has worked in dispute resolution for over 20 years, specialising in commercial mediation and complaint resolution.
He has conducted workshops and training in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and the UK, is based on skills that is used in his work every day. The workshops are interactive and importantly fun.
Trevor was a member of the consulting team that helped create the New Zealand Standard on Complaints Handling and also worked with the Government Centre for Dispute Resolution on their complaint handling matrix for Government agencies. He co-created Financial Services Complaints Limited and also worked for Fairway Resolution as one of their scheme managers.
