Terms and conditions

Member early bird tickets can be purchased for full financial Master Plumbers and their partners/employees with a maximum of 10 individual registrations per purchaser.

If the conference is unable to proceed due to COVID-19, Master Plumbers will work with the venue and accommodation providers to postpone it.

Rates are for room and breakfast only for the duration of your stay and are subject to availability. All other expenses must be met by you.

A credit card will be required on check in to guarantee incidental charges. All incidental charges must be settled on departure and credit card charges will apply.

Covid cancellation policy
If the conference is postponed due to COVID-19, we will do our best to work with the accommodation providers to reschedule your bookings in order to avoid cancellation fees.

General cancellation
Rooms may be cancelled up to 31 March, but please note that cancellation fees may apply.

For rooms cancelled after 31 March, full cancellation fees will apply. If you are unable to attend due to ill health, you will need to request a refund or credit directly from the accommodation provider.

Given the uncertainty around COVID-19, we strongly suggest you obtain travel insurance.

Code of Conduct
All delegates are required to agree to the Conference Code of Conduct when registering for conference. It states:

I agree:

  • treating all staff, and other delegates with consideration and respect
  • acting responsibly with regard to alcohol consumption
  • complying with all requests from Master Plumbers staff and event staff

I understand that if I breach the Code of Conduct, I may be expelled from the conference without a refund and may face disciplinary action.

Conference Photographer/Videographer
A Conference photographer and videographer may be onsite during the Conference and social functions and these photos and film may be used for future Conference collateral and promotion. If you do not want your photograph/video taken, please ensure you (it is your responsibility) inform the photographer/videographer that you do not give permission for your photo/video to be taken at the time.

Health and Safety
Master Plumbers and all conference venues are required to provide a safe and healthy environment for all attendees at the Conference. This includes ensuring compliance with all government and Ministry of Health requirements for Covid 19 and extends to ensuring the conference operations do not place the local community at risk of any injury, illness or property damage.

All measures within our ability will be undertaken to ensure that attendees are as informed as possible about potential risks or hazards they may face whilst attending the Conference. All attendees will need to ensure that all health and safety concerns, and all accidents or near misses are immediately reported
to the health and safety officer on site.

All attendees are encouraged to be always responsible, and to promote a safe and healthy working environment for the entire Conference duration.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend the conference you may assign your registration to another person. If they are not a member, they will be required to pay the additional registration fee for non members.

If you cancel your registration other than for matters relating to illness or COVID-19, cancellation fees will be payable. Any applicable refunds will be paid after the conference as per the table below.

Cancellation prior to 28 February 2023 – 75% of total conference fee to be refunded
Cancellation prior to 20 March 2023 – 50% of total conference fee to be refunded
Please note that cancellation fees may apply if you cancel your accommodation prior to 31 March.

If you cancel after Friday 31 March 2023, no refund will be payable on either your conference registration or accommodation.

If you are unable to attend conference due to COVID-19, and cannot transfer your registration to another person, we will refund your conference registration.

Requests for accommodation refunds or credits must be made directly to our accommodation providers and will be considered by them on a case by case basis.

Given the uncertainty around COVID-19, we strongly suggest that you obtain travel insurance to protect from any losses.

If the conference is unable to proceed due to COVID-19, Master Plumbers will work with the venue and accommodation providers to postpone it.

Trade stand exhibitors will need to comply with additional health and safety requirements (including government issued COVID-19 requirements) and these will be advised in due course.

In the event of industrial disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances that disrupt the Conference, the Conference organisers accept no responsibility. The information on the Conference website is correct at time of publication. However, the Conference organisers reserve the right to change information. If, for reasons beyond the control of the organising committee, the Conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.
