The Partner Activity Programme will be held on Thursday 25 March, departing from the Marlborough Convention Centre at 10.15am.
Join us for a food and wine tour of the Marlborough region. The tour includes the Vines Village, a must-visit destination for lovers of wine, beer, gin, boutique ice cream, gourmet food, art and design. You’ll also enjoy wine tasting and a relaxing vineyard lunch before returning to the Conference venue at 2.30pm.
Note: partners are welcome to attend the Conference sessions both before and after the Partner Programme.
Friday afternoon is your chance to have a look around the gorgeous Marlborough region. We have three options, all booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Places are limited, so don’t miss out on your favourite.
Option One - Marlborough Sounds Cruise, 12.30pm departure from Marlborough Convention Centre
Travel by coach to Picton before embarking on cruise around Queen Charlotte Sound. You’ll enjoy lunch on board while you learn about the aquaculture industry and take in the picturesque scenery. Return to Picton marina at 5pm and board the bus back to Blenheim.
Option Two - Private Vineyard Tour by coach, 12pm departure from Marlborough Convention Centre
Travel in comfort by coach around the vineyards and enjoy wine tasting at two different vineyards and a vineyard lunch. Return at approximately 4.30pm.
Option Three - Bicycle Vineyard Tour, 12pm departure from Marlborough Convention Centre
Looking to get some exercise at the Conference? Enjoy a leisurely cycle around the vines and enjoy wine tasting and lunch. Choose from one of three itineraries and ride at your own pace in this bike – friendly region. Bicycles, helmets, and maps provided. We’ll be in touch closer to the time so you can select your itinerary. Return at approximately 4.30pm.
